Our project’s Executive Coordinator, Dr. Olivia Tort presented CGI-Clinics’s initiatives at the European Union’s Mission Cancer event on 27 April 2026.

This talk coincides with major milestones for the CGI-Clinics project:

  • The official release of the hashtag #CancerGenomeInterpreter platform, available at www.cgiclinics.eu for research use, following 3 years of work by the Barcelona Biomedical Genomics Lab (BBGLab) at IRB Barcelona in co-creation with the ten clinical partners of the consortium.
  • The launch of the hashtag#CGI500genomes initiative, aiming at involving the clinical-research community in constructing a database of 500 cancer genomes for research. Coordinated efforts by IRB Barcelona, Centro Nacional de Análisis Genómico (CNAG) and Centre Léon Bérard. More info at this link.
